The online booking form must be completed to comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements. Meetings and events should not exceed the published capacity (72), for health & safety reasons. A permit to consume alcohol on University premises must be obtained in advance if the event is to involve the serving of alcohol.
The person who requests the booking is responsible for ensuring that procedures for the use of the room are followed. Failure to follow the procedures may result in denial of future bookings.
Keys to both the Noel Stockdale Room and the adjoining kitchen should be collected from and returned to the Central Library Information Desk (Level 1) during staffed opening hours.
An event safety notice is available on the inside of the door. Please read this in case of an emergency and/or evacuation. For after-hours emergencies call Security on 820 12880 [extension 12880].
The adjacent kitchen is available for use by any group for the duration of their booking. No hot or messy food is permitted. Professional caterers preparing and serving food in the kitchen must complete the University’s Online Contractor Induction.
The Library is not able to offer supplies or technical support for use of the equipment and extra equipment is not available. Technical support is available via phone during business hours [extension: 12345.]
Any additional equipment brought into the NSR must be removed at the conclusion of the event. All electrical equipment must be tested and tagged.
Turn off all equipment after use.
No library property is to be removed from the kitchen. Rubbish must be placed in the bins or in rubbish bags left beside the bins. Please report breakages or equipment malfunctions to email@example.com or call 1300 354 633 (select 3 for Library).
Restore furniture to the standard configuration, as per the floor plan below.
